Epcot is a wonderful park for adults in my opinion. It has kid friendly aspects but I think adults definitely enjoy it more because there is more to see, do, and eat! The last time I was at Epcot I was thirteen and it was in December. I remember going on every single ride and exploring Future World extensively. This time around I was set on exploring the World Showcase, eating lots of food, and snapping photos with as many Disney Characters as I could.
We arrived at the park around 9am and the first thing I did was go to the character spot to get photos with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. We didn't have a fast pass and it took about 30-40minutes. At Epcot you can meet many Disney characters! Many of the Character Meet and Greets take place at the World Showcase. The complete list of characters include Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland in United Kingdom, Belle in France, Princess Jasmine in Morocco, Snow White in Germany, Mulan in China, Elsa and Anna in Norway, and Donald Duck in Mexico. Check back on Friday for a detailed post about the Character Experience and how to manage to take photos with all the characters during your day at Epcot!
The World Showcase includes Canada, United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, The American Adventure, Italy, Germany, China, Norway, Mexico. Many of the World Showcase attractions don't open until 11am. I decided to start off at Canada since we had lunch reservations in Morocco at noon. Before lunch I was able to snap photos with Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland in the UK.
I made lunch reservations for noon at Restaurant Marrakesh. The food is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend eating at noon because you beat the lunch crowd and you happen to be indoors while it is really hot outside. We ordered the Goat Cheese with Crispy Bread for appetizers and for our entrees we had the delicious couscous with lamb shank and roast lamb meshou followed my three cups of delicious Moroccan Tea.

During my visit the annual spring Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival was going on (March 1 - May 29, 2017). Highlights of the festival included a ton of Disney theme topiaries, outdoor kitchen offering food and beverages that were floral themed, vibrant garden walkways, farm to table experience and much more! The food is most definitely the best part of the festival. I highly recommend the Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade (non-alcoholic) from Pineapple Promenade located in the Showcase Plaza. It is absolutely delicious and the perfect drink on a hot day at the park!
One of my favorite parts of the park is visiting Club Cool at Future World West. They have 8 different Coca-Cola flavors from around the world you can try. The countries include Italy, Greece, Thailand, Japan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Peru, and Brazil. My personal favorite is the one from Greece which is a Fanta Pineapple flavor and happens to be caffeine free, it basically tastes like fizzy pineapple juice!
I absoluetly love Epcot and wish I could have stayed until the end of the night to enjoy the fireworks and light show at 9pm, however this was a short and quick trip for me. Hopefully next time I can spend more time exploring the park!
If you are planning a trip to Orlando and have any questions about Epcot feel free to reach out! I love talking all things Disney!
