I don't think I've ever done a post about modest swimwear, but I got such a huge response when I posted this photo while on vacation. Everyone had questions about my rash guard, swim cap, and where I got everything from. Today I'm sharing all the details on my favorite modest swim gear!

I go with a turban look while swimming. I find it easier and it gives my neck room to breathe or else I feel a bit claustrophobic while in the pool. I have a swim turban that I prefer to wear for water activities. It stays in place and doesn't budge! I played an intense game of water volleyball with my family and had no issues with it. If I'm just lounging on the beach and don't plan on getting in the water I go with this turban that is a bit lighter.

Let's not forget accessories! A big straw sun hat is a must for the beach, as well as a beach blanket, tote, and sunnies. I prefer to go with inexpensive sunnies because there is always a chance for them to get swept away by a wave or lost at the pool. I leave my fancy sunnies for dry land!

As for the gear that I wear going into the water, I wear a skirted swim bottom from Coolibar paired with a long sleeve rash guard top or a long sleeve one piece bathing suit. I prefer the skirted swim bottoms as opposed to the swim tights because it provides extra coverage. There is also a cropped version of the skirted swim tights as well - I have both! For sizing reference I have XS and S. It is best to have a size down for the tights because once you are in the water you want to make sure it sticks and doesn't get loose.

For tops I have a few rash guards that I rotate through. Now is the time to stock up on them since it is the end of summer and they are on major sale! I linked a bunch below. My favorite brands/places to shop for rash guards are J. Crew, Body Glove, Coolibar, and Zappos.
