Montmartre & DC Eastern Market

Washington DC's Eastern Market neighborhood is wonderful way to spend a sunny Sunday in DC. Last week I had the best time with some girlfriends exploring the area.

The day started with brunch at Montmartre. This french restaurant has the most delicious food! There was a tad bit of a wait - but it was well worth it! We ordered a variety of delicious treats.

Eggs Benedict
Leg of Lamb Tartine
Normande Crepe
Special of the Day
After brunch we walked over to Eastern Market. The market had just about everything you could think of! I was tempted to buy just about everything! There was a ton of home decor stuff that were just gorgeous!

While strolling through Eastern Market I picked up this lovely artwork from artist Zachary Sasim. I'm kind of obsessed with his work! I can't wait to frame this print and add it to my collection of travel art!

Walking around we were mesmerized by the coffee aroma from Peregrine Espresso! They are known for their delicious cappuccino which is exactly what I ordered!

Overall it was a lovely day!! I can't wait for the weather to warm up to spend more Sundays brunching in this area!
