Annapolis

The weather is finally behaving therefore last weekend my siblings and I took a day trip to Annapolis!

The first stop on the tour was lunch at Cantler's Riverside Inn. We had a bucket of mussels and a platter of seafood goodness. This was my first experience of eating this amount of seafood and it was delicious!!! 

Then we grabbed some delicious sweets from Caroline's Cakes. The seven layer cake is famous - Oprah loves it - therefore I had to try it! We had the cake along with a red velvet cupcake for my brother. They were both just divine!

Afterwards we walked around historic Annapolis and took in the sites. It was the perfect spring day to just walk around and do nothing.

Last stop on our visit was the US Naval Academy. We walked the grounds and and took loads of pictures (sibling picture below)! It is a definite must see if you take a trip to Annapolis.
