Hello 2016! I hope every one's New Year is off to a great start. This past Christmas I finally was able to cross off one more thing off my travel bucket list - Christmas in NYC! I have been dreaming of spending the holiday times in New York City for the longest time and this year it happened. Thanks to my awesome brother for being a trooper and following me on all my adventures. Although it wasn't a white Christmas I still had a blast.
Today I'm sharing highlights of all things holiday related I did while in NYC over the Christmas Holidays. First stop was snapping a photo at the New York Palace Hotel Christmas Tree at 455 Madison Ave.
Radio City Music Hall is always a sight to see during the holidays. It is jam packed with tourists and a ton of chaos - but definitely worth a quid trip!
Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center is the epitome of Holidays in NYC. However there are a TON of people there and it's not so pleasant. Therefore brace yourself for crowds. Right across Rockefeller is Saks Fifth Avenue which has a timed musical/lights show in the evening and it's worth the view.
Giant Christmas Ornaments at 1251 Sixth Avenue right across Radio City Music Hall
We caught a Comedy Show at Comedy Cellar on Christmas Night. My brother loves comedy shows and I thought this would be a perfect way to spend Christmas. Much to our surprise Tracy Morgan was one of the comedic acts! The show was a blast! You can make reservations directly on the website - a must while in NYC!
I've been wanting to take a trip to MoMa for a while - therefore we planned a short trip to see some of my favorite artworks (my bro is not a fan of museums but he was a trooper)!
My favorite part - which my brother also very much enjoyed - was having lunch at Baita at Eataly in the Flat Iron District. Baita is a Pop-up Restaurant on the 14th floor of Eataly open until March. The vibe at Baita is a cozy Italian Alps dining experience. Be sure to order the hot cocoa - it's divine!!
Check back next week and I will be sharing all the food spots I dined at while in NYC!
Have a lovely day!
