Happy June everyone! June is my favorite month - mostly due to the fact that it's my birthday month - and because all the summer festivals begin! Yesterday was the Taste of Ann Arbor on Main Street in downtown Ann Arbor. Various local restaurants participate in the event. The way it works is you buy tickets - 50 cents for 1 ticket, $5 for half sheet (10 tickets), $10 full sheet (20 tickets) - and use the purchased tickets to buy food. My friend and I started off with the Chilled Beet Soup from Amadeous, then had the delicious and famous Fish Tacos from Black Pearl, and Fish & Chips from Conor O'Neill's. We went back for seconds for the fish tacos but they were finished! We finished off the day with smoothies since it was scorching hot. It was a fun time and we got to sample delicious food! Can't wait for all the upcoming Ann Arbor summer festivals!
