During my trip to Iran, my family and I managed to escape to Isfahan for a quick trip thanks to my sister and brother-in-law planning it all. I was super excited for this trip because the last time I was in Isfahan I was 12 years old! Therefore it was definitely a trip down memory lane for me.

We stayed at the Abbasi Hotel which was absolutely stunning. We got into Isfana early in the morning. After checking in to the hotel we walked over to Naqsh-e Jahan Square and had breakfast at Azadegan CafeThe first sight we visited was the beautiful Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. I'm obsessed with the design of the dome and all the colorful blue tiles. The mosque is pretty simple in design compared to Shah Mosque, which I personally really like! Pictures don't do justice for this beautiful architectural space. Since we were there bright and early I was lucky to snap photos without any crowds and capture the beautiful lightening of the space. When traveling to Isfahan this mosque should definitely be on your list to visit.

Thanks for stopping by!
