Fall Apple Picking near Baltimore

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is go apple picking! Since moving to Maryland I've tried to go to various orchards and farms to check them all out and see what they have to offer. Today I'm sharing my favorite spots to pick apples, go on hayrides, pumpkin patches, and all things fall in the Baltimore area!

Baugher's Orchards and Farms || This orchard is the real deal! They have endless rows of apple trees and a pumpkin patch. Be sure to check the website to see what kind of apples are ready for picking. Baugher's also has a market to buy decorative pumpkins, gourds, mums, and delicious cider. Be sure to try the ice-cream!! You can easily spend a day here having a fun fall day! I do suggest to get here early as lines get along later in the day. Also be sure to have cash on hand for tickets!

Weber's Cider Mill Farm || I visited Weber's recently and in my opinion it is more a local market that allows you to easily pick up fall things. There are a few apple trees, but not to the scale of Baugher's. In my opinion this is a great spot to go for a quick fall run to pick out mums, pumpkins, decorations, and grab apple donuts and cider.

Summers Farm || This place is perfect for families!! It is located in Frederick and there is so many activities for the kids that they could easily spend the entire day here. I did a blog post last year on my visit to Summers Farm. There are so many activities such as corn maze, pumpkin patch, apple blasters and much more. The corn maze is a blast and took a solid hour for us to complete, mostly because we kept getting lost taking photos. Summers Farm had the best hot apple cider and cider donuts in my opinion!!

Larriland Farm || This orchard is located in Woodbine and allows you to pick your own apples and pumpkins and more depending on the calendar. They offer haydrides and a straw maze and a boo barn for kids.
