#TBT | Outer Banks

This week's #ThrowBackTravel is to Labor Day weekend in 2009 in Corolla, North Carolina in the Outer Banks. My sister, mom, and bestie and I drove down to the Outer Banks to enjoy the last weekend of summer soaking up some sun. We rented a vacation home via Brindly Beach Vacation Rentals for three nights over Labor Day weekend. We stayed at the Selah house in Corolla. The house was incredible! It had way too many bedrooms for our own good, a pool, hot tub, and literally a two minute walk to the beach!

This is our view of the sunset on the first night from the balcony at the house. Unreal.

In the morning we walked to the beach and took a lovely morning stroll before the beach became crowded. There were a few people doing yoga, running, and walking their dogs.

In the afternoon we ventured out to explore Corolla. We went to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla and climbed to the top to get a 360 view of the Outer Banks.

We found a hidden gem to view the sunset which was the pretties I've ever seen! The sky was painted all these pretty colors that were unreal. Pictures don't do justice for how stunning the sunset actually was.

The second day consisted of pool time, beach time, walking around and just exploring and doing absolutely nothing! It was perfect.

It was such a lovely relaxing weekend and the perfect end to the summer. I would definitely recommend Corolla and renting this particular house because location wise it was phenomenal! Happy Thursday!
